• Weather: Sunny skies, lower humidity, comfortable coastal breezes, and minimal rainfall.
• Best for: Surfing, scuba diving, island hopping, hiking, and beach days.
• Peak Crowd & Price Periods: July and August (plus late December / Christmas–New Year) see massive tourist spikes, heavy traffic in southern hubs like Seminyak and Canggu, and doubled hotel rates.
Shoulder Season (April, May, September, October)
• Weather: Mostly dry with pleasant warmth and occasional brief showers.
• Best for: Avoiding peak crowds, getting better hotel deals, and enjoying quieter beaches and temples.
Rainy / Wet Season (November – March)
• Weather: High humidity with frequent, heavy tropical downpours (usually short afternoon or evening showers) and lush green landscapes.
• Best for: Budget travelers, spa retreats, café hopping, and exploring cultural hubs like Ubud.
• Lowest Rates: January through March are the quietest and cheapest months, though January is typically the wettest month.
